Moorish Quarter, Algiers w.c. paper/ laid down on board 9 3/4 x 6 1/4 inches Although an English watercolor artist who sojourned to the US, he is most noted for his small Orientalist paintings. Here is a fantastic example from his prime, probably painted before WW 1. Beautifully framed as well.
